Philips Sonicare FlexCare Plus, Rechargeable Toothbrush

Philips Sonicare FlexCare Plus, Rechargeable Toothbrush

It Did. The Sonicare Flexcare Plus is a step better than the Healthy White Sonicare I have been using.

When I found that the Amazon Vine program was offering the newest Sonicare toothbrush, I grabbed one, and it is a great find. Here's what I think about the newest version of Sonicare:

PROS:

1. The FlexCare Plus appears to be gentler than the previous model, but my teeth still get that dentist-clean feeling.

2. The brush's "engine" slows after two minutes for a single minute of gum massage that feels great. Philips says that water is pulsed during cleaning to provide better cleaning between teeth, and that may account for the clean feeling after gum massage.

3. There are brief pauses, as with previous versions, to alert you when you've cleaned a quadrant and need to move to the next.

4. The UV brush sterilizer is built into the brush's base rather than being an independent unit. Thus, I no longer have two units that need plugging in, but only a single. I now do not have to remove a plug to be able to plug in a hair dryer.

5. The battery may last longer than previous models. Certainly you get more brushes from a single charge, so you can take the brush traveling without worrying about having to recharge it.

CONS:

OK, this is nit-picking, but I miss the tabs that allowed me to open the base to roll the cord for storage. I had to roll the cord by pushing it into the storage area . . . a bit more difficult than on the model that opened up completely but certainly not worth subtracting a star.

This is my fourth Philips sonicare, and, as far as I'm concerned, it's the best yet. I highly recommend the FlexCare Plus.
